The DFI Fund in the US expires in May of this year and Iraq needs to pay back the debts they owe. They are trying to get the debts forgiven and they have some of them through the Paris Club but there are others that needed taken care of. Some of the countries are demanding they pay them or else face the international court. There are many, many people begging and demanding that Iraq step up to the plate. MORE PRESSURE!!

How about that? When we travel to Iraq we will be able to eat American food! That is great for tourism which they are actively pursuing. This will cause the economy to grow faster also. There are many more companies, hotels, phone, tourism, food, etc that are all investing in this country.

So we continue to watch them. Elections are coming up soon. They have said that they will delete the zeros after the elections. However, that doesn't mean they want start before the elections. I wish I could tell you that this was going to be over this week and it will be 3.00 but since we can't know that then just rest assured in the fact that we do know that they are going to raise the value of the dinar and we will be looking with expectation for it to happen.

Iraq is under tremendous pressure and with the elections and needing to show that they care about the citizens then there is even more urgency to pass the laws which help them move forward as a country. They want so badly to join the WTO but they have certain requirements that they must meet. They are trying again to get in. I am encouraged!!

"The Quiet Room" EP October 14, 2014 Release

I am excited to announce the release of my first ever album.  This album is a huge moment for me in my future career as an aspiring contemporary christian musician.  These tracks are a culmination of my struggles and late night meetings with the lord.  I really became inspired by David's heart in worship through a dedication of song and praise.  Nightly I would read through Psalms and find places that ministered to me and my past experiences.  This album,"The Quiet Room", is a testament to God's grace.  His ability to redeem all walks of life is the theme of this message portrayed in a deeply personal light.  The level of excitement in the work he has given me is without bound.  I can't wait to share with you what God has shared with me this Fall.

All Too often we measure ourselves in an attempt to be self-reliant because this is what the world expects of us.  The freedom we come to know in Christ tells a different story.  "The Quiet Room" speaks of my journey as a double minded man and my inability to put to rest my old belief systems established before my conversion to Christ.  I have a love for the Christian music out today but this album has a much different approach.  I could have focused on just the praise aspect of worship but my intent was to show the fault in our humanity.  I wanted to show the intimacy and capability of God to restore.  This album is about the process of coming to know Christ truly.  We understand the end result is good but how do we get there?  I believe we do so by finding a quiet room with the Lord.
